Old Gold 1930 Llyod Loom Armchair and Footstool

Quite rare and unusual styled Lloyd Loom armchair. I believe it is a design from the early 1930's. These chairs were manufactured in London using a new, woven fibre, wrapped over a bent wood chair frame.

This stylish tall backed armchair is in its original old gold colour, the sprung seat cushion has new upholstery, plush velvet in a multi coloured print dye.

The llyod loom armchair comes with its matching storage box which is used as a footstool with the chair. 

Both pieces are in excellent condition and the chair is pretty comfortable and well proportioned. excellent pieces of furniture for lounge, bedroom or conservatory.
