A Pair of Scandart Chairs

A pair of Mid Century wood framed armchairs by the British manufacturer Scandart. This quality furniture maker made these chairs out of a combination of beech and elm. This range of furniture was heavily influenced by Scandinavian design at the time.

The frames have had a light clean and the show wood on the arms is in tidy condition. The cross bar at the back of the chairs has a few knocks where they have been sat against a wall, wear and tear showing their age.

The armchairs have the original springs with new foam cushions with dark charcoal coloured zip cushions.
