Guy Rogers Manhattan Sofa

A mid century teak framed sofa bed by Guy Rogers. The Manhattan sofa turns into an overnight bed by the simple design of the back flipping over to make a bed measuring 180cm x 78cm. The upholstered back has sliding doors which access storage compartments.

I have stripped the frame, removing old stain and varnish and restoring it to its original colour. The frame as to be expected of this age has a few knocks and dints but is in good condition, it has a dark line in the grain at the side of one of the arms. The Sofa has been re upholstered in a lovely soft teal linen and new atlas rubberized webbing has replaced the old perished original webbing.
