French Gilt Side Chair

Very cute French, gilt side chair. I have re upholstered the seat in a vintage copper coloured velvet, which i think works well with the gilt and overall style and period of the chair.

The gilded gesso is in original condition and does have wear and knocks on the gilt plaster on the back and arms. It is stable but not recommended for heavy use. would be lovely as a bedroom dressing table chair.
