Art Nouveau magazine stand
This is an unusual magazine rack from the Arts and Crafts / Art Nouveau period, around 1900. It is made of oak with lace set into panels around its top edges. It has lovely cut out detail down each side which is typical of Art Nouveau, tapered and elegant.
This looks lovely set next to a chair as its a nice height from the floor.
some small splits on the panels and the lace shows its age, slightly frayed around the edges.
Height 80cm, width 43cm, depth 28cm.
